What Germany is doing with 'Burgundian' varietals is simply amazing. The weather is just perfect with hot summer temperatures to bring the sugars up and brisk, cool nights to bring the acids up. Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc are performing out of this world, producing wines with classic fresh, aromatic fruit with super crisp acids.
