FATHOM is excited to introduce our first Wine Maker’s Dinner of the Summer season on June 17th. Each of these dinners will feature a local BC winery, paired with a delectable, coursed meal crafted by our Executive Chef, Peter Kim.
We invite you to join us for an exclusive culinary experience. The first of five courses will be served reception style on the Terrace, with stunning views of the Inner Harbour. We will then move into our magnificent private dining room, which offers a unique blend of complete privacy with contemporary-styled cuisine influenced by the Pacific Northwest.
$165 per guest (19+); taxes and gratuity included.
About the Wine Maker:
We are excited to work with Sandy Leier, the Wine Maker from Laughing Stock Vineyards for our first Wine Maker’s Dinner. Growing up in Kelowna, Sandy was instilled with a love of the land from an early age. Being surrounded by the abundant fruit trees, vineyards and forests of the Okanagan Valley was her catalyst to pursuing a career in Winemaking. In Sandy’s 16 years of winemaking experience, she’s traveled to many wine regions around the world and has had the opportunity to learn from winemakers working with different varieties and terroir.
About the Chef:
Chef Peter was born in Korea and spent his younger days surrounded by a family passionate about food and eating. After moving to Vancouver, his passion continued and settled as his career. Since graduating from Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts in Ottawa for pastry and cuisine, Chef Peter has spent his time travelling to enrich his philosophy and skills for different food and culture. During this time, he enjoyed various positions and honed his philosophy and skills throughout his career in Vancouver, Singapore, Brisbane, San Francisco, Canadian Rockies, and Ottawa. From Michelin stars to luxury hotels and high-end dining to casual restaurants.
