Join Certified Sommelier Joshua Voytek on an exploration of the wines of Tuscany. Tuscany is one of the most well-known and acclaimed areas of Italian wine production, known primarily for red wines from the Sangiovese grape in regions such as Chianti and Brunello di Montalcino. But increasingly, wines are beginning to include international red grape varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc as well, either by tradition or by innovation. This class will focus on what makes Tuscany special and will give those attending a comparison point between many of these stellar and acclaimed wine subregions within Tuscany.
