Join Certified Sommelier Joshua Voytek on an exploration of wines from New Zealand. As wine making countries go, New Zealand has become ubiquitous for producing 85% of the world's Sauvignon Blanc, with about 75% of that Sauvignon Blanc coming from Marlborough on the South Island. However, although most people's experience with NZ wine may only be limited to Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, there are a lot of good expressions of other varietals planted all over both the North and South Islands that are worth checking out as well. After traveling to New Zealand last year, Joshua will be sharing several interesting wines from both the North Island and South Island in order to illustrate some of the variety of wine that NZ can provide.
