About this Event
This November, our Wine & Cheese Club returns with a twist. It’s all about the symphony of red fruits and the well-known grape variety; Pinot Noir and local cheeses from The Cheeseman.
Over 1,000 years older than Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir traces its roots back to the Roman era and is now the 6th most planted red grape variety in the world. Known for its elegant layers of red fruit, earth, and spice, and, when oak-aged, gentle wafts of vanilla and smoke, it’s a wine defined by grace, balance and subtlety.
Our Head of Bars, Aoife, will talk you through each pairing, explaining why it works, what to look out for, and how Pinot Noir expresses itself differently across regions like South America, New Zealand and France.
Each session includes:
· A seasonal flight of 4 wines
· Curated cheese pairings from The Cheeseman, Hove
· Expert hosting from our resident bar team or special guest producers.
· A relaxed atmosphere with space to sip, savour, and stay a while.
Whether you’re here for the wine, the cheese, or just the moment – pull up a seat.
Book early. Bring someone whose glass you’d happily top up.
