WINE AND WILLS- AN ESTATE PLANNING WORKSHOP

Join us for an exciting evening of wine and valuable insights at the Wine and Wills Estate Planning Workshop with Heritage Law!

Estate Planning. What is it? How will it benefit me? Is it more than just getting a will? What is a trust, and do I need one if I’m not wealthy? Can I control how and when my loved ones inherit my assets? Who raises my children?

Emily Sullivan and Bethany Shelton with Heritage Law will answer these questions and more during our “Wine and Wills” happy hour on Feb 26th from 5:30-7pm. This will be informal and town hall style, giving you the opportunity to explore the impact of having – or not having – a plan in place for your family. You’ll walk away with knowledge you can use to help control your future.

On a personal note as many of you know in October of 2023 my mom Ellen Bell passed away. She was without a doubt the most influential person in my life and also the most incredible human I know. The best legacy she left my sister and I was a well organized plan for after her death. In this terrible time of grieving we didn't have to hunt for information, figure out celebration of life details, or struggle to manage her finances. It was all planned and ready for us. I do not know if I would have been able to manage everything had that not been the case.

This topic is hard for many, and often we choose to not think about it or deal with it because it is sad. But your family deserves the ability to truly grieve when you leave this earth and having a plan in place makes it that much easier for those that are left behind.
