Band With No Name, is an awesome line up of highly skilled jazz and Caribbean musicians who will be performing an eclectic mix of jazz, reggae, RnB and blues. You can dance your heart out or just listen and chill. The choice is yours!
Plus, with Caribbean food provided by Mahalia’s Kitchen we know you’ll want to celebrate this Windrush Day with us all.
Band With No Name includes Alan Weekes, guitarist (founding member of Jazz Warriors, credits include, Art Blakey, Aswad, Caron Wheeler, Jimmy Cliff).
Steve Marshall, singer, songwriter and producer, (twice Grammy nominated for recording projects with Jamaican legend Lee “Scratch” Perry), Kenrick Rowe, renowned drummer who has worked with many artists including The Specials, Mighty Diamonds, PJ Harvey, Hugh Masekela, and Courtney Pine.
Mikele Montolli, double bass and bass player (credits include Marshall Allen’s Sun Ra Arkestra, Julie Dexter, Heidi Vogel and many more).
