Booking is essential! Please book one 'place' per lantern. Each lantern can be made by 1-3 people. For Example, if you're an adult bringing 2 children and they each want to make a lantern, please book two places or if you are attending on your own, please book one place.
Join our wonderful Barrowfull team in creating a beautiful illuminated parol lantern for your window as devised by light-artist Sara Blackburn!
This traditional Filipino artform involves using bamboo and tissue to make a unique decorated 3D star that can be hung in your window and brought out year after year.
Suitable for adults and families (children must be joined by a parent or guardian).
All materials will be provided.
We will be using glue and we encourage you to get a little messy, so please wear appropriate clothing!
Your star may still be wet when you take it home, so please do bring a plastic bag to carry it.
