Long before Lilith Fair, there was Wind and Wood! The first all women trio to bring music to the Central PA area. It was the 80's and were all young and I found myself in the best place I could have ever imagined...playing music with two of the best women in the world...with the best audience ever.
It was a life changing time for thousands of us living here and it certainly shaped my life into where I am now.
I recently uncovered a video of a 13 song set that Wind and Wood performed in the fall of 1984 from Little Buffalo Festival..and I thought it would be a blast to sit in those comfy seats, eat popcorn and enjoy a piece of our collective herstory....and Zoetropolis is the perfect place.
Tickets are only $10 and all the money from admission goes right back in to supporting this venue.
If you can, come meet up with old friends and new ones for dinner at 6:00, by calling and reserving a table. After dinner, we will head into the theatre and watch the video.

This November marks the 40th anniversary of the death of my friend Anne Billmyer and I can't think of a better way to honor her.
