Tuesday 16th December sees the return of the Winchester Posh & Sparkly Christmas Ball at the Guildhall.Always a highlight of the year for many, there’s no other event like it!
2025 will see this event have FOUR dance floors, including the return of the Main Ballroom! And will run from 8pm until 12am!
Dance Floor 1 – Bapsy (Main) Hall – playing a non-stop floor-filling mix of mainstream pop, chart, club & classics.
Dance Floor 2 – King Charles Hall – playing non-stop Rock, Disco, Swing, Latin & classics music.
Dance Floor 3 – Courtyard (Downstairs) – DJ Cliff from Enerjive with the smooooothest mix of smooth jive tunes.
Dance Floor 4 – Wintonian Room (Bar area) – Modern Blues with DJ John Dunlop from Rhapsody.
This event will also see the return of our Sweet Factory! Where you will be able to Pick & Mix your own bag of Christmas sweeties!
There will be a fully licensed bar at this event. So please do not bring your own drinks other than water.
This is a gender balanced event & tickets are available in advance from www.danceyourselfdizzy.co.uk or from any DYD night – Tickets are priced £18 in October, £20 in November, then £22 in December.
SOLO LADY TICKETS HAVE NOW SOLD OUT. Ladies can still purchase tickets as long as it is with a man as part of a couple ticket.
Dress code: Black tie / Smart.
This has always been our most popular event of the year, selling out every year, so do not leave it to the last minute to get your tickets if you would like to be there.
Ball night format…
7.45pm – Doors open.
8 – 12.00am – Non Stop Freestyle in 4 rooms.
12.00am – Close.

Winchester City Council now charge for evening parking in most city centre car parks – but it is still free to park in the Chesil St multi-storey car park SO23 0HU which is only a 5 minute stroll from the Guildhall.
