About this Event
Wina Wellness is a 6-week boxing program founded on the principle of movement as medicine. Created for Indigenous women and girls, this program blends physical training with cultural safety, community, and wellness.
Led by Ivy Richardson (Kwakwaka’wakw/Nuxalk), founder of Red Girl Rising and co-owner of Nanaimo Boxing Club, participants will learn boxing fundamentals, build strength and confidence, and experience the healing power of movement in a supportive environment.
No prior experience is needed. All gear is provided. Just bring yourself, and come ready to move, connect, and grow.
And to close it all off, our partners at lululemon will host us for a private shopping event to celebrate your commitment and hard work. Each participant will receive a gift card that builds with attendance - $35 for every session you make it to. If you have to miss one and let us know beforehand, no problem, your balance stays intact.
