Lauren Teller is back at Alnoba in 2026 for her popular Wim Hof Method workshop and cold plunge!

Created by Dutch extreme athlete Wim Hof, this method offers profound benefits, including increased energy, reduced stress, improved sleep, accelerated recovery, and a more robust immune system.

Lauren will delve into the scientific basis of the method's pillars and lead you through the Wim Hof experience, including controlled breathing and the always optional plunge. Her focus on safety and gradual progression ensures that the breathing techniques and cold plunge are accessible to all, regardless of age. Under her tutelage, you'll learn to harness the power of breath and cold exposure, unlocking a healthier, more resilient life. The workshop concludes with detailed instructions on integrating these techniques into your daily routine.

The goal of the Wim Hof Method breathing techniques and cold exposure is to support and teach you to develop mastery over your nervous, immune, and cardiovascular systems, helping you be happier, stronger, and healthier at any age.

General Schedule 3 hour workshop

  • 4pm doors open
  • 5:00 PM: Introduction to the history and techniques of the WHM
  • 5:30 PM: Explore the mechanics and physiology of WHM breathing and its effects on the body
  • 6:00 PM: WHM Breathing Session
  • 6:45 PM: Break & Snack
  • 7:00 PM: Learn the health benefits of cold exposure, mechanics and physiology cold plunging
  • 7:15 PM: Ice Bath (Always optional, max 90 seconds for first timers)
  • 7:45 PM: Horse Dance to activate brown fat, share experiences, and enjoy tea & chocolate

What to bring: (breath session is inside, cold plunge is outside no matter what the weather.)

Comfy clothes to do the breathing, a sweatshirt for after the plunge.

  • Yoga mat
  • Notebook (if you want to take notes)
  • Bathing suit, towel, flip flops
  • Open heart and mind
