The San Antonio River Authority, along with local partners, hosts six (6) free Household Hazardous Waste Collection Events within Wilson, Karnes, and Goliad counties. These semi-annual events are held in the spring and fall. County residents may stop by to drop off unwanted household hazardous waste, tires, paint, used motor oil & filters, cleaning products, pesticides, computers, small electronics, and pharmaceuticals.
The River Authority hosts these household hazardous waste collection events with the hope that it will lead to a reduction in waste that enters our creeks and rivers.
