About this Event
Join us for a walk down Wilson Avenue!
Wilson Avenue includes a bridge over the 210 freeway, making it a key walking connection between areas north and south of the freeway. On this walk, we'll start at McDonald Park in Bungalow Heaven, and stroll down Wilson to the coffee shops and restaurants on Colorado Boulevard. We'll treat this as a walk audit of Wilson Avenue, and invite participants to reflect on features that impact the walking experience both in positive and negative ways.
- Meet at the south-west corner of McDonald Park, near Wilson & Mountain.
- Total distance will be approximately 3 miles.
- We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes, sunblock, and a hat.
- We also recommend bringing water and a snack.
