Wills, Advanced Directives and Heir Property

We will be discussing requirements to make a will in North Carolina, living wills/powers of attorney/ and health care powers of attorney. We will also discuss what happens to property when there is no will and the laws of intestacy take over, as well as how heir property or family land works.
Tiffany Smith has been in an attorney in civil litigation for more than a decade. She brings extensive business and legal experience, both practicing and teaching. She currently works in the Disaster Relief Project of Legal Aid of North Carolina where she does disaster law, outreach and community education.
