Berry season is upon us! Join me in celebration of nature's bounty to learn how to make your own harvest basket.In this workshop you will make a small round basket perfect for harvesting berries, a few eggs, or even a few apples. You will work from a round base and learn basic traditional stake and strand techniques, how to peg a handle, and a simple three rod border.
This is a nice first time basket for people who want to try their hand at willow weaving. All tools and material will be provided.
Tea and coffee will be provided, but please do bring your own packed lunch as this is an all day event.
Please note that although this is a fairly easy project to start learning with, willow weaving does require some finger strength and dexterity.
