Come to Mere Brow Farm and learn how to make a beautiful and functional obelisk for your garden. The design is incredibly sturdy for growing climbing plants but it also looks stunning as a garden ornament! It would also make a great gift for a green-fingered loved one 😍. Come with some ideas of how you would like yours to look (or be guided on the day) and together we can make it happen you will be so proud of what you can achieve! The end time is flexible as everybody will work at their own pace.
Although this project isn’t as intensive as making a full basket working with willow requires a good level of dexterity in the hands. We will share a simple vegetarian lunch and the joy of creating together ☺️. Refreshments will also be available throughout.
The finished obelisk will be around 27cm in diameter at the base and around 5 ft in height.
The cost for the workshop is £50 per person. I don’t want to exclude anybody on the basis of cost so please get in touch if you would like to come but would struggle to pay.
