More about Nadee:
Born and raised in Sri Lanka, Nadee earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Pune in India. In 2004, she moved to Ottawa, Canada, and now resides in the beautiful town of Carleton Place with her husband, daughter, two cats and a dog. Nadee and her husband also have two adult children who are out in the world, writing their own success stories. She cherishes sharing her life and passions with her husband, children and their precious granddaughter.
Though Nadee always had a knack for writing, it wasn’t until she was 49 that she considered writing a novel. As someone who has always felt strongly about social pressures and conventions- particularly in socially conservative countries-Nadee, being somewhat of an unconventional herself, found her voice through her debut novel Labyrinth Of Dreams. This novel not only ignited a newfound passion for writing but also provided her with a platform to highlight the struggles women and others face due to archaic social biases.
Embracing this new chapter in her life, Nadee is determined to challenge dogmatism within conventional societies and to demonstrate that it is never too late to dream a new dream. She believes that we are not defined by failures but rather by how we overcome them.
