Explore the ancient craft of willow basket weaving in this 3 hour hands-on beginners workshop!Using natural locally grown willow from the grounds of Quince Honey Farm, you will learn how to create a traditional stake and strand round basket and the weaving techniques to craft the base, side weave, and borders. Immerse yourself into the wonderful world of willow weaving and finish with a beautiful and practical basket to take home with you.
This workshop is suitable for beginners, if you have been on a willow basket weaving workshop before and would like to move on to the next stage of learning then please check out our intermediate basket weaving workshop.
