About this Event
Willoughby City Council is joining the 16 Days of Activism campaign by inviting residents to our solidarity walk honouring and supporting victims of domestic violence.
Join Mayor Tanya Taylor, Rotary Club of Northbridge and the Willoughby community to raise awareness, and promote safety, justice, and healing. The walk symbolises Council’s commitment to ending domestic and family violence and supporting survivors in our community.
Join us at the Dougherty Community Centre for an afternoon tea featuring addresses from Mayor Tanya Taylor, Sergeant Larrissa Ryan, North Shore Police Area Command, and Peter Russell, President Rotary Club of Northbridge.
We will then stand together and walk from the Dougherty Community Centre and conclude at Chatswood Mall, where the Lower North Shore Domestic Violence Network will host an information stall. Resources and representatives from domestic violence services will be available to provide support and speak with the public.
