Join us for our 1st Willmar Wrestling Fundraiser Bean Bag Tournament! Located at Willmar Indoor Golf on 11/8.Willmar Wrestling has been putting out an excellent program year in and year out for the last decade+. With 16x team conference championships, 13x team state entrances and 8x team state placements. Coming off back to back state consolation championships. Also to add many individual conference championships, state entrants, state placers and state champions. Many wrestlers have pursued wrestling in college after high school. Including a 2x division 1 all-American.
Willmar Wrestling doesn’t just succeed on the mats but also academically. The Willmar Wrestling team has academic recognition 12x in the state. 2x silver, 10x gold with academic achievements. 4x academic state championships. Also coming off a 2nd place academic state championship last year.
We will be doing a raffle for custom Willmar Wrestling boards and along with many other things. We will draw winners of the raffle half way through the doubles bag tournament. If you’re interested in donating anything to raffle off please reach out to Ed Oehlers or I.
All tournaments will be a 75% payout and 25% will be donated to the Willmar Wrestling team.
The day will consist of:
***Friday 11/8***
🎬 Doubles:
•6pm Registration
•630pm Bag Fly
•2 Divisions
-Competitive $80/Team
-Social $40/Team
•4 Rounds of Rounders (Round Robin) to Determine Seeding
•Followed by a Double Elimination Tournament
•Best 2/3 on Winners Side
•1 Game on Losers Side
