We're kicking off the concert series season with a couple new kids in town: William Wright and Landon Hoffman, both out of Fort Worth, TX. Louisiana native William Wright is a singer-songwriter and guitarist. His introduction to performing began in church and spread to playing with bands in his hometown of Shreveport’s music scene. William’s enjoyment of the songwriting process flourishes by playing guitar for artists under the American Roots umbrella. Exploration of the Bakersfield Sound and Outlaw Country led him to where his original music lies today. William can be found on stage in the dance halls and dive bars in Texas and beyond.
Landon Hoffman, a Texas songwriter from Brock, TX, draws from his humble upbringing to create a unique southern sound. Landon has always been a songwriter at heart, learning to craft songs at fifteen years old. His music comes from a curiosity for life and a love of the outdoors. His music reflects the influence of blues, country, and bluegrass but resides in its own category. Landon’s debut album Time Machine was released in May 2024 and is available on all streaming platforms.

Please join us Saturday, April 12, 2025! Doors open at 6:30PM with the concert starting at 7:00ish. BRING YOUR CASH! The recommended donation is $20 (you can always pay more!) and you can pay when you get here. All proceeds will go to the artists!
Our venue has 28 seats available --- and there's standing room - just to give you a sense of possible audience size. Please select GOING to confirm you're planning to attend so we can get ahn idea of how many to expect. Doors will open at 6:30pm and prepare to be entertained starting at 7pm.
REMINDER: This is a HOUSE CONCERT...not a house party.
If you have not attended a Rainwater House Concert Series show before, here are a few things to know:
1. It is BYOB! The RHCS Happy Machine will be loaded and ready (it'll be RUM) - and please bring whatever other libations you prefer. We will have an ice chest for you to keep it cold if needed. (Drink Responsibly)
2. Bring a dish to share. It can be chips and dip, cookies, an order of wings, a personally prepared dish (our favorite), or anything you think people will like. We will have SOME snacks, but there may not be enough to feed everyone.
3. This is not a bar venue. We disapprove of talking during the performance, and we appreciate giving your undivided attention to our entertainers during the performance. If you need to talk, please go outside.
4. If you came to hear cover songs, you’ve come to the wrong place. This is for the artist to show off their original music. They may play some covers throughout the night, but it won't be the focus.
5. Silence your phones. Give some respect.
6. We do not CHARGE for admission. We ask for donations, but if you are there to listen to the artist, then you need to pay up (it is not fair to the artist for you to get something for nothing, and they give something and get nothing). This is the artist's livelihood. They aren't here for their health. THERE MAY BE MERCH - so bring extra $$$$
7. Enjoy yourself. Meet new friends through music. And most of all HAVE FUN! We know WE will!
