Will Cartwright is a prolific singer/song writer/producer who rose to fame in the early naughties with a string of EDM releases including "On my mind", "Love rocket" and his smash hit "Bright lights".Will went on to play bass for Kelis for a UK tour and spent 10 years as the Keys player for "The House of Commoners", one of the Southwests biggest live hiphop collectives.
Now fronting a 7 piece live band on vocals and keys to bring you the more soulful side of his back catalogue peppered with some carefully curated funk and soul classics.
On drums, the glue that holds the whole show together, is Ian Miller. He once took second place in a Gimley Look alike competition and now models battle axes for the monthly iron mason magazine, "Fire Bangers".
On Bass is Thomas Irvine. Famed for carving the extremely life like appendage on the annual may pole, his affinity with wood runs deep.
On Guitar is James "Mofo" Mills Who once waltzed down the stairs after a one night stand, wearing nothing but a borrowed dressing gown, to find the son of his conquest sitting at the breakfast table. A chap he recognised from his college days "Alright Son?" The only appropriate words for such an occasion.
On Trumpet and Percussion is Dan Poole. The black sheep of the band as he's just happy the real musicians haven't turfed him out yet for being an imposter.
On tenor Sax is Mark Webb. Soon to be hailed as the next Mayor of Yeovil, Mark was mentored by the legend Pee Wee Elis.
and last but not least, on Alto Sax (not even his first instrument as they had to bring him down to the average skill level of the band) we have Dougal Caston. Hit chops cut so deep that he was once investigated by the FBI, accused of causing the 2020 pandemic. His skills make him so cool he can pull off socks and crocs with no shits given.
