Whilst we occasionally run ticketed Friday Night Specials, entry for our regular weekly Thursday club nights is on a first-come-first-served basis and unticketed and we do not take advanced seat bookings.
Entry for regular club nights is free, we pay our guests by way of a *CASH* collection. Whilst we understand that some simply haven't the means to make a contribution and absolutely DO NOT wish to exclude them, we expect those who can to make as generous a donation as they are able in recognition of our guest's work.

Life is full of unexpected ups and downs, illness, weather and other unexpected things can spoil the best made plans. We may sometimes have to change our guest at short notice, or even cancel an evening altogether. To avoid disappointment please re-visit the relevant night's event for updates *BEFORE* setting out.
*WILDWOOD JACK
Wildwood Jack are another one of that growing band of people that just turned up at the club one evening, asked to do a floor spot and went on to delight us so much that it was impossible to resist asking them to come back and do a guest night. They proved that we had made the right call in 2017 and again in 2021, now they're back again.. ..can't wait!
A totally unique acoustic guitar and ukulele duo from Kent, they sold their home in 2013 to hit the road and tour the world bringing a heartwarming and adventurous spirit to their music and to audiences wherever they play. The quality of their musicianship together with songs that sparkle with the journeys of a life on the road will be sure to uplift you. Contemporary folk music with a twist of bluegrass and world music played with outstanding fingerstyle guitar and ukulele.
The duo are husband and wife, Adam Piggott and Jayne Freeman, who were brought together by a love of music when they first met in 1991 at Hull University and they’ve been travelling on musical journeys ever since. Settling in Hastings in East Sussex in 2002 they played in various musical projects from samba bands, ukulele sextets and a cabaret trio all the while gathering and writing songs with music taking them further and further afield. From these travels and adventures they longed to hit the road full time and in June 2013 they sold up and began an inspirational journey that’s taken them all over the UK, Europe and New Zealand. Playing at acoustic clubs, folk clubs, festivals, house concerts and even busking has brought new people to their music.

Having enjoyed their 2018 album, "Liberty Ship" so much I had expected great things of their follow-up but when it arrived, was stunned, "Many More Ways Than One", released at the pandemic's height in 2020, is an absolute cracker! By a country mile my favourite album of that year.
