We will be hosting one program per month this spring intended for homeschool students that will focus on various learning opportunities and observations of park wildlife. Dress for the weather and wear closed-toed shoes. These programs will meet at the Welcome Center. Please pre-register each child for each session individually. Maximum number of participants per session is 20 unless otherwise noted. Registration for each session will close at noon on the Monday before the session.Fee: $7; Discounted Greenville Resident Fee: $5

Wildwood After Dark Ages 5 and Up w/Adult
Join us on an adventure as we explore Wildwood Park after dark on this guided homeschool night hike. Participants will learn about nocturnal animals, use their senses to observe nature at night, and discover how the park changes after sunset.

Gone Fishin’ at Wildwood Ages 5 and Up w/Adult
Learn the basics of fishing and discover what lives in the waters of Barber Lake and the Tar River. This program will be split by age: participants ages 8 and up will learn from an NC Wildlife Commission angler, while ages 7 and under will learn basic fishing techniques with our staff.

Wildwood Wonders: Reptiles & Amphibians Ages 5 & Up w/Adult
Join us as we explore the park in search of reptiles and amphibians! We’ll learn about the habitats they live in and the different species we encounter along the way.
