Wildsong back on Gozo after a summer break, Alex & Jessica warmly invite you to our Firelight Song Circle event on Saturday 13th September from 6pm to 10pm. We welcome you to spend this evening with us at Wildsong, sitting around a fire, connecting with friends at Thrive Education and Wellness Farm in Malta. Contribution β Sliding Scale: 20β¬ - 40β¬, including Music, Singing, Chai and Organic Garden Cooked Dinner.
What is the human voice? Our voice is our expression, our action, our conscious creations and the things we put out into the world. These things are not only verbal, they are our behaviours, our businesses, our relationships, anything we choose and action. So you may see how important it is to understand and consciously use your voice. These community singing events are designed to open the voice in a fun and joyful way and put you in touch with your authentic voice using vocal warm-ups, creative flows, chants and our favourite songs.
We will provide dinner for you, a delicious vegan meal prepared by the lovely Alex. Most of the food is grown organically with LOVE from Thrive Garden in Nadur and Thrive Farm, along with locally sourced Wild plants and Chai Tea. THRIVE is an educational facility, hosting events and workshops for the community teaching permaculture, and providing space for many different holistic events.
WildSong emerged from the understanding of the benefits of a community space, held in a circle around a fire, where songs, stories and prayers are shared. There is great power and love that comes from harmonising together through song. These songs become the anthems of our days, our prayers through the hard times, and the joy and lightness that moves our spirit to dance. This is a co-creative experience where each one of you is an integral part of the event. You are welcome to bring your instruments, drums and voices and your songs to share.
