WildSide presents our 17th Sin City Soirée!

Thank you so much for your interest in WildSide. For those who might not know, Since 2007, WildSide has hosted the annual Sin City Soirée. The Soirée is a week-long Trans-pride celebration that always starts the day after Mother's Day. We focus on empowerment, community-building, friend-making, visibility and a whole lot of fun for the Trans and gender-expansive community.

We are also happy to share that we are officially BACK ON TRACK. After almost three years of pandemic, virtual events and October surprises, we are back to our pre-COVID model, which means we will hoist our Trans flag and take over Vegas once again in a full-tilt, no-holds barred Sin City Soirée on tap for May 15 - 20, 2023!

For the first time since 2019, our beloved VWS Rockstar Bus Tour will be back. That means a welcome return of the infamous Las Vegas Sign group photo and a proper Stride with Pride Visibility March through the Cosmopolitan. Other traditional events like the Cabana Pool Party, Coffee Talk Support Groups and Carnival of Sins will also be back but we plan to expand our itinerary to offer more entertainment options for our guests. This includes increased hosted events (more on that below) and new venues both on the Strip and off.

HOTEL

We will also have a new home in 2023 (sort of). Since 2017, we have been proud to call Bally's Hotel & Casino our Vegas home. Located on the center of the Strip, across from Caesars Palace, the Bellagio Fountains and next to Paris, Bally's is in the process of rebranding, so by the time of our next Soirée, we will call Horseshoe Las Vegas our home sweet home.

Each year, we provide our guests with a special WildSide group hotel rate. Upon registration, you will receive a link to our exclusive VWS hotel reservation portal. A word of caution, folks that come to the event and stay off-site often regret it. Staying off-site means having to make constant trips to our hotels because that is where much of the action is, so save yourself the headaches of all that extra time, travel and money and stay with us at Bally's/Horseshoe.

CONFIRMATION EMAIL

If you have decided to take a ride with us on the WildSide, upon registration, please watch for the all important CONFIRMATION EMAIL. This email will contain links to our daily events RSVP page and the hotel portal where you can book your room at Bally's/Horseshoe with the WildSide group rate. The information in the confirmation email is VERY important VWS insider stuff. If you don't receive it in a timely fashion, check your spam/junk folders. If you still can't find it, contact us at . 

WildSide CENTRAL

Once you arrive in Las Vegas, make sure to stop by WildSide Central; our hospitality center located at the cabanas of the Bally's/Horseshoe Pool. There you will find friends, information on all things WildSide, wristbands for any paid events, maps, schedules and souvenirs. Just look for our banner!

Please note that our itinerary is like gender itself... it's very fluid. There may be changes to our itinerary, so please keep an eye out for these emails and posts so you are up to date on all the latest VWS happenings. HOSTED EVENTS

What is a hosted event; you ask?

Hosted events are a way for YOU to be a part of the VWS organizing team and also a way to connect with our more intimate past as we manage an ever-growing family. In the old days, we could move around as a group of 20-30 and do things like dinners, limos and clubs together. That helped create some very special moments and a lot of bonding; as we were all “in this together”.

As our lil Soirée gets bigger and bigger, it’s a little more difficult to keep that tight-knit feel we had in the early days. Hosted events help to bring together more manageable groups of folks for concerts, shows, shopping trips, racing exotic cars, anything you like. If it fits with our schedule and event vision, you will be in control of planning the outing and we will promote it on our official itinerary. It’s an amazing thing when all of us are together but don’t be afraid to break off into a smaller group and explore of some spaces that a group of close to 300 might have trouble getting into. COVID

WildSide WILL NOT REQUIRE PROOF OF VACCINATION TO ATTEND THIS YEAR'S SIN CITY SOIREÉ. Please note that this is subject to change at the discretion of the WildSide organizing team. When it comes to the safety of our guests, please know that we will be following local, state and federal guidelines and if that means we need to ask for proof of vaccination at a later date, that is a possibility. We ask WildSide and it's members to please respect all federal, state and local COVID-19 requirements.

We are so excited to have you join us for this year's Soirée. If you have been part of our special brand of mayhem before, then you know; but for those joining us for the first time, please know the WildSide strives to provide you with a safe and welcoming place for you to be your authentic you. With over 200 trans folks from all over the world and on all points of the gender journey, WildSide is an amazing place to find support, inspiration and empowerment. If this is your first time and you'd like some advice from a VWS veteran, join our Big Sis/Lil Sis program. We will get you answers to all the questions you might have in order for you to come to the event confident and ready to enjoy! Just let us know when you register.
