Curious about how to create habitat for birds, pollinators, and other wildlife?Join Daily Acts and Veronica Bowers, founder of Native Songbird Care & Conservation, for a Wildscaping workshop on Saturday, April 5th at the Petaluma Library!
Learn how to restore whatever patches of landscape you have access to – be it yard, garden, balcony, patio – to support a greater web of connected habitat.
Through the lens of a water-wise habitat, this informative program will focus on birds and their needs. From food, water, shelter and nesting material, the plants that support birds also invite in pollinators and greater biodiversity.
This program will also tour the surrounding gardens and provide participants with knowledge of bird life, healthy habitat tips, and a wildlife-friendly plant palette.
