About this Event
Nottinghams Wildlife Wellbeing Walks is a series of walk and talk events hosted by the Greenspace and Natural Environement team of Nottingham City Council, and aims to not only showcase the wonderful parks and nature reserves in the district, but give opportunities to socialise with like-minded people, get exercise, discover new places and immerse yourself in the urban wildlife.
Walks change location each time to reflect the best every season has to offer, and are held twice monthly on the 2nd and 4th Fridays. Walks will also be lead by different people in team, adding a new perspective each event.
Wildlife Wellbeing Walks are always free. If there is an independent cafe on site, or nearby, we would rather you show some support there.
This event is at Nottingham Arboretum, the oldest public park in the city. With its large library or trees, charming pond and beautiful foliage, there is something to see all year round. Meeting point is the Samuel Morely statue, by the cafe, just off Wesley Street. Sturdy footwear is advised for all of our walks.
We look forward to seeing you there!
