About this Event
Wildlife Tracking Level 1 - Hosted by Wild Paths Natural Awareness
Tracks are the words that animals speak upon the land. Be prepared to be awed and inspired by what they say! Through a dynamic mixture of interactive teachings and an afternoon trip into the wild, we will learn how to recognize and differentiate species based on their tracks, discover what they were doing in their environment, how old the tracks are and many other incredible "arts of the tracker".
- Learn easy ways to identify which animals made what track
- Learn how to identify what these animals were doing in their environment (running, walking, etc)
- Learn to identify where these animals were coming from and where tehy were going
- Learn to figure out the near mystical art of 'aging'...or when the animal made the tracks
- Learn to get inside the mind of the animal to figure out its next moves
If you have ever had a thirst for nature or detective work, this course is for you.
