Renowned National Geographic, Discovery Channel, and UNESCO recognized Photographer and Filmmaker Rituraj Devaang will walk you through the nuances of wildlife photography in the pristine wilderness of the Jhalana Leopard Wildlife Reserve in Jaipur, Rajasthan. This on-site/field photography masterclass cum forest walk is the perfect way to acquire practical knowledge using your camera, lenses, or smartphone! We`ll enter the Jhalana Leopard Reserve and walk up from the main gate to the ancient Kalakya Mata temple inside the forest, clicking and filming nilgai (blue bulls), sambhar deer, and the beautiful birds of Jhalana along the way. Who knows, we might even spot a leopard with its K*ll? (look out on the trees above!) Don`t miss the incredible stories of the jungle along the way, including the photographer`s own personal experiences! Once we reach the temple, we`ll capture the essence of Indian culture and spirituality - the 1000-year old temple even has a beautiful ancient stepwell (stepped water tank) adjoining it - a marvel of ancient architecture! The photography class will thus blend wildlife, cultural, architectural, and landscape photography. A great way to hone your craft amidst nature and enjoy a lungful of oxygen in the forest!
