Wildlife Photography in a Zoo setting

Join Photographers Mike Fuller and Ron Speed to learn how to compose and capture wildlife images in a zoo setting.

About this event

Photographers Mike Fuller and Ron Speed will assist on a walk around Perth Zoo so you may learn how to recognise and capture the wonders of wildlife in a safe environment. They will guide you through the process of how to identify and compose images that will inspire, in addition to photography tips on techniques and capture.

This workshop is a two-part workshop which is suitable for all photographers from beginners to advanced and anyone interested in learning the basics of creating wildlife images in a zoo environment.

Part 1: This is a walk around the Zoo where you will enjoy the hands-on experience of capturing the delights of the Perth Zoo.

Part 2: The second session, a week later, will be a 3-hour review and workshop on post processing of your images

Please bring your own camera and be familiar with how it works. You are welcome to bring any kind of camera, whether it be your mobile phone or a DSLR.

Please note part 1 is an environmental workshop and will take place outdoors, so for your own comfort and protection please wear a hat, use sunscreen and bring a bottle of water.

Suitable for older teenagers and adults. Cost is $5.00 for members of the Armadale Creative Photographic Group and $25.00 for non-members. Bookings are essential. PLEASE NOTE THAT TICKET PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE ADMISSION TO THE ZOO.

For any non-members who join Armadale Creative Photographic during the workshop will receive a $20 discount to their membership.

Part 2: Post processing workshop

Saturday 27th November 2021
