About this Event
Wildlife Hero Training is a hands-on educational class designed to help community members feel confident knowing what to do when they encounter injured or orphaned wildlife.
Hosted by Northern Colorado Wildlife Center, this one-hour training covers when wildlife truly needs help, when to leave animals alone, and the safe, humane steps to take to protect both people and wildlife in common situations.
Participants will also learn what to include in a basic wildlife rescue kit and will leave with a kit of their own to keep on hand. The class will take place on February 8th, 2026 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at 2637 Midpoint Drive, Suite E in Fort Collins. Tickets are $25 per person, and all proceeds directly support the care of injured and orphaned wildlife in Colorado.
