As part of the 'Orchard for Pollinators' Project we are running a programme of Orchard maintenance workshops and volunteer days across Bristol, Bath and South Glou. With the aim of recruiting and training up volunteers to have the skills to care for their local communtiy orchards.

Come and join us for a workday in the orchard sowing wildflower seeds and planting spring bulbs. The day will involved preparing areas of ground for oversowing and planting native spring bulbs thoughout the orchard.
All Health and Safety provison will be covered in safety briefing at the start of the session.

No skills or expertise required, all training, tools and PPE are provided. Please wear sturdy footwear and suitable outdoor clothing.I strongly advise wearing long trousers as we will be working in tall grass were ticks could be present
Bring a packed lunch and plenty of water.

Meeting point:The orchard is located in Yate Common off The Road to Nowhere.

There is some layby parking near to the Westerleigh Road roundabout and street parking nearby.
Unfortunately there are no toilet facilities on site
