Please help us plant Wildflowers in Willmore Park on Saturday, Oct. 4, beginning at 10am. Everyone is invited.There are hardly any wildflowers growing in Willmore Park and we are trying to change that. The more wildflowers we plant, the more butterflies, bees, and other pollinators we will support and attract to the park.
We will plant about 200 wildflowers to grow a "wetland garden."
Meet us in the first parking lot, after you drive into the park. We will plant around one of the walking bridges, where it holds water after big rains.
Please, bring any planting tools and/or gloves that you'd like to use. We could also use some watering-cans, too, for watering-in the plants after we plant them.
(7350 Hampton is the address across the street from the entrance to Willmore Park and the nearest address).
