- Date: Saturday 8th June 2024
- Cost: FREE to attend but this event is to help raise money for The Wilderness. You can donate when you order your tickets or on the day. 1x TICKET PER PERSON. BOOKING ESSENTIAL - NO TICKET, NO ENTRY . Tickets can be obtained at the gate from 11am onwards.

Come and enjoy the summer weather in the surroundings of The Wilderness as local musicians and performers entertain you whilst you enjoy a picnic with friends and family.

Come as a group or on your own, we have four acres of garden for you to find a spot to sit and enjoy time outside in the company of nature.
- Well-behaved dogs that have not been given a flea treatment within the last month are welcome on short leads
- Disabled access toilets with step-free access.
How to book:
- Please select either 'Wilderness Picnic' or 'Wilderness Picnic + Donation' - this will be allocated to you as the booker. You will be the point of contact for your group.
- Then, you can add however many adults and children that will be attending with you.
- You also have the opportunity to add a dog to your guest list in the 'add-ons'. Please read this ticket carefully before selecting.
Guidelines:
- Please take your litter home with you and dispose of it accordingly.
- Games of any sort (balls, frisbee, cricket, bowls) that take up space are not permitted. Games such as hide & seek, and sleeping lions are encouraged.
- Smoking, vaping, or any form of recreational drug taking is not permitted on any part of the property.
- Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and we ask visitors to be mindful that we are next to a care home and residential properties.
- Please refrain from fixing anything to the trees, plants, furniture.
- Please do not arrive at the garden intoxicated (alcohol or otherwise)
- Do not erect tents, marquees or other structures.
- Our car park is for the use of staff, emergency services and family members of residents of Hall Grange Care Home. Please do not use our car park for any reason. There is plenty of on-street parking nearby. Where possible we encourage visitors to use public transport to visit us.
- Please do not bring balloons into The Wilderness. They can be a hazard to the wildlife. Mass balloon releases are not permitted on MHA property for these reasons.
If for any reason these guidelines are not followed, you will be asked to vacate the premises.
Remember, before you leave The Wilderness, to collect all of your litter together to take with you. Please do not leave any items unattended at any time, both to protect your items from theft and also to prevent them causing a possible security alert.
Above all, please be considerate and community-minded, so other people can enjoy the garden too. We hope you enjoy your day in the The Wilderness.
