WFA is a 2 day course concentrating on the basics of packaging and transporting patients and managing life and limb threats in remote environments. Includes prevention and treatment of common environmental problems like Hypothermia and Heat Exhaustion and Stroke.

-Leadership & Liability
-Anatomy & Physiology
-Patient Assessment System
-Basic Life Support – Airway Management and CPR in the Wilderness
-Traumatic Injuries – Head / Chest / Abdomen / Spine
-Shock: Recognition & Management
-Patient Stabilization and Evacuation – Patient Positioning / Carries
-Spinal Cord Injury Management – drills & practice
-Wound Management in a Remote Setting
-Musculoskeletal Injuries – Sprains / Strains / Fractures / Dislocations
-Environmental Emergencies – Poisoning, Heat Illnesses, Cold injuries, Drowning / Near Drowning, Allergies
