About this Event
Basics of wilderness medicine survival are the foundation for this fascinating, interactive course. The course covers all aspect of injuries in the wild including high altitude illness, heat/cold related injuries, lightening injuries, plant toxins, snakes and insects, wild animal bites and attacks, zoonotic diseases, and survival principles. We will discuss how to treat injuries in the wild, including putting together a wilderness medical kit. A practical application lab allows attendees to practice their survival skills.
