Hello old friends & new friendsEasiest exercise you can do is Hike...Hike...!
Consider Hiking is a great way to exercise. Hiking is a great exercise that's accessible, enjoyable, and can be suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels. It's a low-impact activity that works out the whole body, and it can help build stronger muscles and bones.
We will be climbing to the top of San Pablo Peak, it will be the highest of the 3 or so in a row. It will give great views of the bay and surrounding area. It's an easy out-and-back under 5 mile hike to Wildcat Peak on Nimitz Way, a wide paved trail, that is part of the Bay Area Ridge Trail, Wildcat Canyon Regional Park encompasses 2,789 acres along the Wildcat Creek watershed and the surrounding hills and ridges. The park extends from the Tilden Nature Area above the Berkeley hills in the south to historic Alvarado Park at the north end in Richmond.
We will hike at a comfortable pace miles with brief intermittent stops to ensure the group stays together, and a 30-minute or so snack break.
