July's "Wild Wonders: Painting Natural Mississippi" Class

 

Dive into the world of art and nature at MDWFP's Mississippi Museum of Natural Science in Jackson with this new series of painting classes for teens and adults led by local artist and Pacesetter Gallery owner Keri Davis.

 

Explore different habitats and animals of Mississippi sharing their beautiful colors through paint on your canvas.

 

Keri has 30 years experience teaching and creating art and is looking forward to painting with you.

 

July's Class: "Bard Owl Blues" We will have a chance to spend time with the museum's barred owl named Griffin to study it before we paint!

 

Cost for this class: $25 per person and is limited to 25 participants

 

What to Expect:

 

This class is appropriate for all skill levels ages 12 through adult and includes Museum admission plus all materials and instruction.
