WILD Woman Sisterhood Gathering Weekend at Camp Quaives, Kent 21-23 June Sister, this weekend is an invitation to come into a warm, welcoming, non-judgemental, safe space that can hold all of you just as you are.
About this Event

Welcome Sister, are you need of some time to reconnect with yourself, nature and other like-minded souls?

This WILD woman’s retreat weekend, is part of the annual trio of the Sisterhood Gathering experiences, with the theme C E R E M O N Y.

This weekend is all about putting down our daily masks & armour that we wear to portect oursleves, and the metaphorical bundles from the rolls & responsability that we fulfil in our day to day life at work and home, and rediscover the truth of who we are, finding our sacred wild Self.

As we approach Summer Solstice we find ourselves in the perfect time to gather and hold scared ceremony together - greeting the longest day of the year with Sisters around the fire, on our yoga mats in the studio, connecting with mother nature in the gardens, and dancing barefoot as the sun sets and the moon rises.

You are welcome just as you are, no experience of yoga / spiritual / other wellness practices required.

All that is required is that you bring yourself here and we will take care of the rest!

Our intention is to provide a safe, relaxing environment where you can find peace and receive nourishment on all levels, leaving with a full inner cup.

Join us;

In celebration of your uniqueness as well as our kinship,

In celebration of your feminine essence and our shared womanhood

In celebration of all that we have achieved and are yet to achieve, big and small.

In celebration of simply being alive, and to experience our Humanness

In equal celebration of our fearlessness and vulnerability

In celebration of our connection to the cyclical Mama Earth and Moon

In celebration of our own unique voice, and the voices of others

In celebration of moving our bodies, breathing, dancing and completely letting go

In celebration of nourishing our bodies with wholesome delicious food, and nourishing our souls with deep connections

&

In celebration of all that we are, just as we are ♡

— CLARE RODEA RYAN

TESTIMONIALS

"My experience with Clare and her teaching team at Camp Quaives was utterly phenomenal. Right from the moment I arrived, Clare was welcoming and thoughtful. This was my first ever yoga and women’s retreat so I was unsure of what to expect for the weekend. I left on Sunday afternoon feeling like I had been there for months, not simply a weekend. The quality of the healing, nourishment, workshops and lasting tools was exceptional." SOFIA, UK

"From start to finish this weekend was a dream. My plan was to get out of London for a few days and I felt as if I have returned from another planet. It's funny how you feel you have to get far away to get refreshed but this weekend was just what I needed. Not my usual retreat that I would normally attend but I loved trying new things. The hot tub under the stars was amazing and the fooooood. Delicious. Will be returning for sure"— TANYA, UK

“It was eye opening and I will be taking away a lot of knowledge I would like to put into practice. Especially the empowered communication teachings, it really changed my perspective and will defiantly be trying it out. Everything was amazing- food, place, teacher! The classes were everything (and more) I could have hoped for, first yoga retreat and it won’t be my last!" — LYDIA, UK

“The surroundings are incredibly beautiful and it was wonderful to spend some time away from everyday life whilst being so close to home. The Quives is such a wonderful space to relax and retreat and a lot of effort has gone in to making you feel really cared for and held. Meeting so many wonderful and inspiring women and being led by Clare was a real privilege and I felt very safe in the my experience. And I really enjoyed the interesting and enlightening discussions are part of the workshop aspects of the weekend. I would really recommend going to stay at The Quaives in any capacity, but particularly as part of a retreat. Really good value and a really enjoyable and enlightening weekend!” — BIDDY, UK

What will we be exploring with Clare?

Deep Relaxation, Restorative Yoga, Energy Healing Practises & Poetry

Clare will be guiding you through a yoga practice for woman’s wellness incorporating moments of alternating stillness and rhythm, as well as chi gong inspired movement practices and deep relaxation for wellbeing. Clare loves to weave in poetry, for deepening your experience of being in the moment, with yourself. Leaving you feeling loved, nourished, grounded and entirely welcomed.

Talk and discussion on “Cyclical Wisdom for Sustainable Living”

Join Clare in a transformative discussion on how what we can learn from the cycles we observe around us in the cyclical nature of the moon and how nature responds to the four seasons. You will learn how the physical and emotional cycles are inextricably linked, and how understanding your inner cycles can lead to break throughs in living more sustainably and creating inner harmony. This discussion is an invitation to be curious about how you can personally honour your own unique experience and connection to the cycles, as well as give you some key tips and practices to take away on how to sync with them, and create greater health and happiness in your life, work and relationships.

Sarah Grattan

Sarah is DJ Bearfoot the name gifted to her during a Shamanic Journey. Sarah has loved dancing since she was 5 years old going to several dance classes weekly until she was 13… then it wasn’t cool anymore!

The urge to dance was still strong and its here that the Club scene was discovered and enjoyed thoroughly! Dancing didn’t stop even when Sarah travelled around the world, she just swapped clubbing for dancing in nature on beaches and in forests wherever the music played.

During these travels and over the last 20 years Sarah became an established Yoga teacher, Shamanic Healing Practitoner, Reiki Teacher, Nutritionist, Thai Yoga Masseur, Workshop and Retreat facilitator and now a full circle back to music and Dance. Through lockdowns Sarah completed training as an Ecstatic Dance facilitator and DJ.

What will we be exploring with Sarah?

Summer Solstice Sunset-Moonrise Ecstatic Dance Ceremony

You are warmly invited to come dance with us this summer solstice we'll go outside, you'll put on a pair of freshly cleaned, supplied headphones and have a silent disco in the beautiful gardens at The Quaives.

With Ecstatic Dance we get out of the head thinking process, with full consciousness we allow the free movement of our bodies to transform our natural energy flow.

Dance is a part of every human, there is no such thing as “I can’t dance”. We all can, we just move in different ways, there is no right or wrong. All expressions of dance are welcome whilst always respecting your fellow dancer!

You will be listening to incredible live DJ set, a sound journey around the world, facilitated and guided by Sarah to bring you into your body. We begin with shaking medicine before moving into the heart of the dance and allow the waves of music to dance you. Then you are invited to lie down and relax whilst you listen to deeply soothing music, the fully cycle complete; movement, release, growth and stillness.

Guidelines for the “Dancefloor”:

I choose barefoot dancing on the Earth (this is the only optional guideline and at your own risk)

I choose not to chat or talk with anyone on the dance floor

I choose not to drink alcohol or partake in drug use

I choose to respect every person on the dance floor and their space to dance freely without interruption or having inappropriate/sexual dance moves directed at them!

I understand this is a safe space for everyone
