Nàdair chef and owner Kevin Gillespie and MeatEater’s Danielle Prewett invite guests to a special evening celebrating the newly released MeatEater’s Wild + Whole: Seasonal Recipes for the Conscious Cook. On Wednesday Jan. 8 guests will enjoy a selection of seasonal hors d'oeuvres inspired by the book mingle with Prewett during a meet-and-greet and take home a signed copy of Wild + Whole.
Attendees will celebrate the intersection of wild game cooking and seasonal cuisine while connecting with like-minded food enthusiasts. This is a unique opportunity to meet Prewett sample curated bites from the cookbook and be immersed in the art of wild whole food preparation. Among the seasonal hors d’oeuvres to be served are:
· Beef bone marrow with celery gremolata toast
· Winter venison tartare
· BBQ confit duck brioche sliders
· Terrine of wild Scottish hare bacon and leeks
· Scallops with pecan dukkah (or king mushroom “scallops” for vegetarians)
· Chai-spiced parsnip cake
Tickets available via Resy are $75 per person and include a signed copy of “Wild + Whole” and all hors d’oeuvres. A cash bar will be offered for beverages. Additional copies of “Wild + Whole” will be available to purchase.
