Wild Swimming Walk ~ Rode to Tellisford
Advertisement
Join Wild Swimming Woman for a gentle guided walk from Rode, along the lanes to the hamlet of Tellisford. We'll climb down cobbled stone steps and admire the medieval packhorse bridge, before stopping at the Weir where you will have the option of a cold water dip, supported by a fully qualified open water swim coach with years of experience. We then walk back along the river path, enjoying the countryside. This Wild Swimming Walk will take around two/two and a half hours. We will all meet in Rode & specific parking and meeting instructions will be sent out once you have booked your place. You don’t need any special kit, just a swimsuit and towel, and maybe some water shoes if you have them (not essential) plus warm clothes to put on afterwards.
£30 per person, including cake & tea.
This event is suitable for people who can walk for at least 30 minutes at a time and can climb up or down steps, although the majority of the walk is gentle and flattish!
This event is suitable for new or experienced wild swimmers as you can stay in your depth if you prefer a dip.
There are no other costs, such as swim membership associated with this event
