**This location is approximate - directions will be sent the week of the event**In this start-of-spring class, we will meet at least half a dozen tasty and nutritious wild “weeds” that you can find and enjoy - right now!
We will cover general foraging safety, identification, when and where to find spring greens, and ways to enjoy each plant we meet.
Together, we will harvest a variety of spring edibles and make our own wild-foraged pesto to nosh on together.
Participants will leave with their own greens to enjoy at home, pesto recipe, and a pdf of the plants we meet in our time together.
This walk is offered at a sliding scale, with a suggested payment of $35-$75/ person. Sliding scale and NOTAFLOF is offered to make this event accessible to all, so folks with more financial stability are asked to consider paying the higher end of the scale.
