Info: Weaving with metal and wires creates fabulous textural and sculptural surfaces. On this two day workshop you will be doing wild sculptural weaving with metal, wire and beads. Spend time embossing, colouring, manipulating and burning metal and wires to create your own unique weaving which can be designed as a panel, hanging or 3 dimensional object. Alysn has used these as wall panels, garden ornaments and embellishments for flower displays. Use metal, wires, beads and whatever else you wish to add to create a wild or subtle surface which can be enjoyed itself or incorporated into other work as you please.
