Wild Rose Glass has been creating, repairing, and teaching the age-old art of Stained Glass for over 40 years! They are a local family business that hosts workshops and classes year-round at their studio on Harker’s Island. In this hands-on class, you will learn history, tools, and techniques, and go home with your very own creation at the end of class!Learn to cut glass, use a wet grinder, foil, solder, and patina! Create one of three projects, Funky Crab, Bone Fish Spinner, and “Jumbo” Shrimp! All skill levels are welcome! We supply all materials.
Please wear close-toed shoes. And if you would like to, bring your own safety glasses if possible. This class will take approximately 3 hours.
