About this Event
This fun outdoor class at Heritage Pond Education Center is for young children and their caregivers to connect with nature and friends by engaging in hands-on earth science projects, and creating nature-based art. Each class begins with songs and parachute time, followed by reading a picture book based on the theme of the day, playing an earth science-based game or experiment, creating nature-based art, and exploration. Themes vary and include shapes in nature, what lives in a tree, and how seeds grow. A parent or guardian must stay with their child for the duration of the class.
