Join us on Saturday February 7, 2026 at the Northside Kenosha Library for a presentation by Danielle Bell, owner of Native Roots Design. https://www.nativeroots-designs.com/ She will give a talk about “Building Habitat with Host Plant Species”.All native plants provide either nectar or pollen as a food source for adult pollinators and insects. However, there are certain species that have evolved with insects to provide food for their larval stage. These plants provide keystone services that are needed to support the complete ecosystem in your landscape. This talk will discuss must-have host plants to include in your home landscape.
Meeting starts at 10:00am, library is located at 1500 27th Avenue Kenosha, WI 53140
Can't make it to the event? A virtual option will be available, PM Joann Sustachek for the Zoom meeting link. We are planning on recording the presentation and posting on our Youtube channel to view at your convenience.
