As part of the 2025 Wild Amelia Nature Festival activities, join JaxParks lead naturalist Jolie Friedrich for a lecture about the history of bird protection in the United States- a tale of fashion and M**der, Migratory Birds, Murderous Millinery, and Making a Comeback.
Jolie will then discuss general life histories of wading birds, particularly Wild Amelia’s animal of the year, the Roseate Spoonbill.
