About this Event
Presented as a pilot program by the National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute, our WILD Nature Play Club will meet on the first Saturday of every month at the Anacostia Community Museum where we will explore the half-mile loop trail right next to the museum. Join us for unstructured play time in nature as well as a child-directed hike through the George Washington Carver Nature Trail. At the end of the hike, we will gather together for a story and nature activity then head back to the museum. Come prepared for our time together by dressing for the weather- rain or shine- and by bringing an extra pair of clothes, closed-toe shoes, water, and a snack!
